Vintage Gallery (1997 - 2001)

The vintage collection is a body of work which attempts to answer the question: why?   Passion, oppositon and glimpses of universal reality are interwoven in a bold yet etherial context.  The implied unity in each work is born from the fierce preception of duality.

Inspiration: Practice of meditation, stillness, reverence, searching.  Experimentation with collage, dimension and language as a medium.

Inspiration: Images from National Geographic, leaf prints. This work is dedicated to the hunger epidemic faced in many regions of our planet.

EINSTIEN (2000)

Inspiration: Quote "A human being is part of a whole called by us a universe; a part limited in time and space.  He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his conciouness.  This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest us.  Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty."
